On Thursday, March 26th, the AALAM In-House Committee will host a panel that will show why serving on a board is one of the most powerful leadership moves you can make—opening doors to the highest levels of strategy, deepening your influence as an executive, and, in the case of corporate boards, offering compelling compensation opportunities.
The conversation will be moderated by Eunice Chapon, currently serving on the board of the Manning & Napier mutual funds, and include Chinh Pham, partner at Greenberg Traurig, LLP and currently serving on the board of Boston’s Museum of Science, and Matt DiGuiseppe, Managing Director of PwC Governance Insights Center.
Attendees will gain insight into why board service is such a powerful career milestone—from shaping organizational strategy and broadening leadership influence to unlocking meaningful professional growth and, on corporate boards, accessing substantial compensation opportunities. The discussion will also clarify the core competencies boards expect, how to articulate your board‑level value, and the steps needed to intentionally launch and manage a successful board search. Participants will walk away with real‑world guidance, practical strategies, and a clear roadmap to prepare for future board roles with confidence and purpose.
Space is limited to AALAM Members and Greenberg Traurig attorneys only, and RSVP is required. Please contact Tiffany Ko (T2Ko@MFS.com) and Diana Chiang (dchiang@statestreet.com) with any questions.
