Come hungry and ready to socialize! Sandwiches and appetizers will be catered by Ba Le!

Feel free to (and please if you are able to and have them) bring picnic blankets and seats! There will be some seats at the tables, but in the past folks have largely enjoyed sitting on the grass.

The Path to Partnership Program is part of AALAM’s initiative to increase the number of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) partners at law firms through mentorship and relationship building. The Program kicks off with the panel and happy hour starting at 5:30 pm on September 25 at Nelson Mullins, with refreshments catered from local restaurant Shōjo. Our AALAM partner-panelists will tackle questions about billables to business development and much more.
Please RSVP for this panel and networking event by Wed. September 18 using this link. If you have already RSVP’d, no need to register again.
Due to high interest, we are also extending the deadline to sign up for the Path to Partnership Mentorship Program for senior associates 1-3 years aways from partnership consideration. Senior associates will be matched with a Partner-Mentor to help provide one-on-one support during the partnership application process. Interested? Use this link to sign up as a Senior Associate-Mentee or volunteer as a Partner-Mentor, and please stay tuned for other programs and initiatives from the AALAM Law Firm Committee.

AALAM is delighted to invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 for AALAM’s 40th Anniversary Gala, beginning at 5:30 pm at the Westin Copley Place (10 Huntington Avenue, Boston).
For the first time in many years, we will be relocating our annual celebration from Boston’s Chinatown to a new location to more fully accommodate the incredible growth in our membership and presence as well as honor our organization’s many decades in advancing the Asian American and Pacific Islander (“AAPI”) legal community in Massachusetts. We are proud to celebrate AALAM’s legacy and the commitment and achievement of so many of our members.
As a special feature to commemorate AALAM’s 40-year history, we will welcome guest presenters from each of the past four decades of AALAM to share their experiences as important contributors to the continuing success of the AAPI legal community.
Our event will also recognize the contributions of many who help further AALAM’s mission to serve our community by presenting the 2024 AALAM Founders Award to Connie Wong of the Boston Fire Department, the 2024 AALAM Community Service Award to Emily Yu of BioMed Realty, and the 2024 AALAM Ally of the Year Award to Holland & Knight LLP. We will also be recognizing the recipient of the 27th Annual AALAM and Dow Fund Scholarship Award.
We hope that you will join us for this evening of celebration and support of your fellow practitioners.
In case of any questions and/or cancellations and/or if you have any dietary restrictions, email aalamgala2024@gmail.com!
