The Suffolk University Law School Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) and Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) cordially invite you to attend the 6th Annual Harry Dow Lecture Series on Immigration Law, featuring Keynote Speaker, Jonathan Miller, Chief of the Public Protection and Advocacy Bureau of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.

The 6th Annual Harry Dow Immigration Law Lecture Series will also include a presentation of the Harry Dow Memorial Scholarship, which supports deserving second-year Suffolk Law students who are passionate about immigration law and public service.

We hope you can join us as Attorney Miller will speak on the recently finalized Public Charge Rule and how current immigration policies sow fear and distrust as well as inflict pain and suffering in the immigrant community. Additionally, Attorney Miller will address how state and local governments have been pushing back against these harmful policies as well as reaching out and connecting to immigrant communities to ensure that there is deeper understanding of what is needed to truly serve some of the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable residents.
