The Boston office of Mintz Levin seeks a junior Associate to join its Employment, Labor & Benefits practice to do a broad range of labor and employment work. Responsibilities will include representing clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including employment litigation (e.g., discrimination, wage and hour, non-compete cases), employment and HR-related counseling, drafting of employment-related policies and agreements, conducting investigations and trainings, transactional and due diligence matters, and advising on executive compensation and related arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience focused on employment law, including some or all of the following: (1) employment litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies; (2) advising employers on employment-related compliance matters; (3) drafting employment policies and employment-related agreements; (4) conducting investigations; and (5) delivering employment-related compliance training (e.g., anti-harassment training).
The candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent communication, writing, project management, and interpersonal skills, be highly-motivated and a self-starter. In addition, candidates must be admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
