    Laredo & Smith, LLP, a Boston-based law firm, seeks a mid-level litigation associate to join its commercial and business litigation practice. We offer a diverse, collegial environment with a focus on work-life integration, along with the opportunity to work with senior practitioners on a variety of interesting matters, and integrate yourself into the Boston legal community.

    Qualified candidates must have 3-7 years of experience in general commercial litigation, including handling electronic and written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and appearing at non-dispositive hearings. Excellent research and writing skills are required. A background in business litigation is preferred. A strong interest in developing a network through marketing, Bar Association involvement, and speaking opportunities is preferred. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated ability to work simultaneously on a variety of litigation matters while maintaining attention to detail, and providing quality and timely work product. Candidates must be members of the Massachusetts Bar (or eligible to waive in, if from a non-Massachusetts jurisdiction) with familiarity with Massachusetts state and federal practice.
