Calling Diverse Judicial Applicants

Join AALAM, our fellow affinity bar associations, and the BBA as we demystify the judicial application process and provide attendees with information about what it is like to do the work of being a judge in the Massachusetts court system.

The featured panelists hold historically underrepresented identities within the Massachusetts judiciary, and the event will provide an opportunity for the panelists to discuss the role (if any) of their identities in both applying to be and being a judge. The event is intended specifically to encourage members of groups historically underrepresented in the judiciary to learn more about applying to and life on the bench.

The format of a live webinar will allow for attendees to explore application to the judiciary privately and to ask questions anonymously, if they so choose. The affinity bar associations who organized this event are tremendously grateful for the all-star cast of moderators and presenters and invite broad participation in this exciting event.
