Join AALAM in celebrating the WBA and Emily Sy!
AALAM has 3 tickets to the Women’s Bar Association Gala on Monday, October 24. Tickets are available to AALAM members in good standing (i.e., up to date on dues).
At the gala, the WBA will present the Lelia J. Robinson Award to Patricia Garin and Hauwa Ibrahim. Patricia Garin is a national leader in complex criminal defense and civil rights litigation, and Hauwa Ibrahim is an internationally known human rights lawyer. The WBA will also honor this year’s Emerging Women Leaders in the Law, who include AALAM’s own President, Emily Sy (Takeda Pharmaceuticals), along with Kate Barry (GBLS), Laurie Bishop (Hirsch Roberts Winstein LLP), and Amy Sennett (OpenText).
The WBA Gala will take place on October 24 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with the cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m. and the main program at 7 p.m., at Artists for Humanity (100 W. 2nd Street, Boston).
