What's this webinar about? 

Whether you work at a big firm, small firm, in house, or for the government -  who doesn't want to save on taxes? This webinar is for anyone starting out to those about to retire. Our experienced panel includes a financial planner, tax attorney and CPA who will help you with year-end tax savings and give you investment advice for during COVID and beyond. This one hour webinar will be packed full of practical tips.

We understand that you are busy so the program starts at 12:00 p.m. sharp and there will be a hard stop at 1:00 p.m. Participants will be given a Zoom link the week of the program and can sign on beginning at 11:45 a.m. on the day of the program 

Yong Jong, Tax Attorney 

Yong joined BRAYN Consulting LLC after nearly 8 years of tax consulting experience at Big-4, both at Deloitte Tax and PwC. He heads up BRAYN’s Northern California practice. At Big-4, Yong spent a majority of his time in the Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive practice, where he led engagements for several Fortune 500 clients. He also worked at McKesson for 5 years on various projects, including implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the in-house R&D Tax Credit process.

Yong’s industry expertise is focused on the computer science and software arena, and he has significant experience in Tax Controversy. In addition to his BA and JD, Yong holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University.

Kevin Webber, Wealth Manager 

Kevin grew up in a tight-knit community in Hopedale, Massachusetts. He went to public schools and then to Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where he earned a major in English and a minor in business.

Kevin’s parents always advised him to choose a career where he can help people and make a difference in their lives. This is what drew Kevin to the wealth advisory industry, and he joined Fidelity Investments in 2004. For twelve years, Kevin worked at Fidelity as a financial consultant for high net worth clients.

In 2016, Kevin joined Heritage, drawn by the firm’s culture of always putting its clients’ interests first. As a wealth manager, Kevin leads client relationships, providing strategic guidance on the multiple financial decisions his clients need to make. He also coordinates with his clients’ accountants, attorneys and other advisors to ensure seamless integration of all aspects of their finances.

Richard Soo Hoo, CPA 

Richard Soo Hoo CPA is licensed in Massachusetts; formerly of Price Waterhouse Coopers, Texas Instruments, Wang, Dassault; and holds a Harvard BA -Chemistry and Stanford MBA - Finance and Accounting.

He offers tax planning for immigration applicants - EB-5, student, research, business, technology, real estate visas. 

Targeted tax saving strategies are developed for green card and US residents who pay a lot in taxes. We direct rapid responses to IRS tax notices, tax audits, foreign financial assets compliance, and tax controversies from foreign, federal, state, and local agencies.
