This Zoom panel will discuss the history of cooperation and mutual support between the AAPI and Black communities in the United States. Panelists will examine shared experiences and differences between these two groups, with a focus on the criminal justice system. Further, panelists will provide tangible ideas for projects that the AAPI legal community can work on that will provide support to the Black community going forward.

The panel will feature remarks by Law Professor Robert S. Chang of the Fred T. Korematsu Center at Seattle University School of Law, Professor Scott Kurashige of Texas Christian University, and Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins.
