Since 2010, the Boston Bar Association’s Diversity & Inclusion Section has coordinated a Summer Judicial Internship Program to help provide law students with the valuable professional experience and mentoring needed to succeed after graduation. This year, positions are available at the Boston Municipal Court, Massachusetts Superior Court, United States Bankruptcy Court, and the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit.
The Program is an unpaid, non-credit internship in which students work directly with a judge or legal team, observe courtroom proceedings and enhance their legal research and writing skills. In addition, interns are invited to engage in professional development seminars and meetings held at the BBA. We’d love for you to share the application with your law student members and encourage them to apply. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until Friday, April 6, 2018.
Please find the application attached and you can direct students to find more information on our website here. If you have any specific questions, please contact Cassandra Shavney, atcshavney@bostonbar.org
