2018 People of Color in Criminal Justice (POCCJ) Conference will take place on Tuesday, May 22nd at Framingham State University, in Framingham, Massachusetts - the theme for 2018 is “Resiliency”. Online registration begins on Monday, March 12th.
The POCCJ Conference will address the unique concerns and issues facing professionals of color across the spectrum of criminal justice professions. The goal of the conference is to initiate dialogue about both the theoretical and practical aspects of criminal justice work, among both practitioners and academic researchers, through the lens of the experiences of people of color active in the field.
CNN contributor Ms. Asha Rangappa, Director of Admissions and Senior Lecturer at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University, will be the keynote speaker for 2018.
